Girona, on the other hand, have failed to cement their place in their debut UEFA Champions League campaign. Currently, they are languishing in the 30th spot in the overall standings with their chance of progressing over with just three points in six matches. Their league has not been good either as they occupy eight spots in La Liga. However, they have done well in recent games, collecting two wins in the last three matches.

Arnau Martinez has been one of the positives for Girona this season with the teenage defender making a good impact with his performances. This season, he has made 23 appearances for them scoring three goals and assisting another three.
