Rui Pedro, the sporting director of Al-Ahli, offered his thoughts on Cristiano Ronaldo’s decision to skip Al-Nassr’s last three games in the Asian Champions League and the Saudi Arabian League.
Cristiano Ronaldo decided to go on a striker and missed Al-Nassr’s three matches before returning last weekend on the pitch. However, his protest was mainly against the Public Investment Fund, as he feels Al Nassr have backed clubs such as Al-Hilal financially in the transfer window.
Moreover, Karim Benzema’s move to Al-Hilal further irked the Portuguese star, who was not happy with the league’s management. However, Ronaldo decided to end his strike after his demands were met.
