Al-Hilal to hold third meeting with Manchester United ace Bruno Fernandes: Report

The Saudi club are desperate to sign the Portuguese star.
As the Manchester United captain prepares to hold a meeting with the Saudi Pro League team for the third time, Al-Hilal are still committed to signing Bruno Fernandes.
Due to the intense interest in the midfield player from Saudi Pro League powerhouse Al-Hilal, Bruno Fernandes has been linked to a summer transfer away from Old Trafford. According to reports, the Saudi champions are prepared to pay the United captain £65 million a year in order to attract him.
The Portugal international has already clarified his position over his future, saying he is content to stay at United. However, according to The Mirror, the Red Devils star is expected to meet with the Saudi club for a third time since their officials aren’t giving up.
In addition to speaking out about Fernandes’ potential transfer, manager Ruben Amorim has stated that he wants his countryman to play at Old Trafford next season. With 19 goals and 15 assists across all competitions this season, the 31-year-old has had a spectacular campaign.
Prior to playing Tottenham Hotspur in the club’s most important game of the 2024–25 season, United will play West Ham and Chelsea in the upcoming Premier League games. On May 21, they face the Spurs in the Europa League final in Bilbao.
According to reports, Saudi Pro League president Fahad bin Nafel met with Bruno Fernandes’ agent Miguel Ruben and attorney Caetano Maria on Monday to offer a lucrative three-year contract. However, his inner circle turned down the offer.
The midfielder has acknowledged that he does plan to leave United at some point, though, and that he enjoys watching football in Brazil because it is “attractive and electric.”
He said: “Whenever I can, I follow it, because I find Brazilian football attractive, electric football, with a lot of quality, joy, very one-on-one.”
“It’s pure football. And I think that now, with the coaches that are there, not only the Portuguese, but also Brazilians, are increasingly developing in the tactical part.”
