Al-Ittihad plotting double swoop of Leandro Trossard & Danilo Pereira: Report

The Saudi side have submitted a bid for the Belgium player.
Leandro Trossard, an Arsenal midfield player, is reportedly the target of a bid of €35 million (£29.4 million) made by Saudi Pro League team Al-Ittihad.
During the January transfer window of the previous year, the Belgium international signed a £27 million contract to join Mikel Arteta’s team from Brighton. In 71 games since joining the Gunners, the 29-year-old has 12 assists and 19 goals.
Although the Premier League transfer window is now shut down, Saudi clubs can still add players through Monday night at 10 p.m. BST.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Al-Ittihad have sent an offer to Arsenal of €35 million (£29.4 million) in an attempt to sign Trossard in a last-ditch effort.
Given that they won’t be able to sign an alternative until January, the Gunners must now choose whether to sell Trossard. Less than two years after joining Arsenal, Trossard additionally has to be open to accepting a transfer to Saudi Arabia.
The Belgian opened his Premier League account of the new season with a goal against Aston Villa as the Gunners cruised past to a convincing win. The north Londoners are unlikely to sell the Belgium international given Gabriel Martinelli has been poor. Trossard has stepped up in crucial games when needed the most.
Al-Ittihad are also looking to sign PSG star Danilo Pereira
It has been stated that Danilo Pereira, 32, is no longer a factor at Paris Saint-Germain. This is despite the fact that he has been a valuable squad member in recent seasons.
The Portugal international was one of several players placed in the “loft” throughout the summer. Although he was unable to find a new club before the transfer market closed in Europe’s top five leagues, he is now very close to moving to Saudi Arabia.
Danilo has not made an appearance for PSG this season. It seems unlikely that he would at any time, especially with the addition of Willian Pacho. He has also received permission to depart PSG.
