Fans could see the son and father duo playing for the same club.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s desire to share the pitch alongside his son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., is well known. Cristiano Jr. has previously revealed that he asks his father to keep playing so they can be teammates. But very soon, this dream could become a reality.
Al Nassr are thinking of adding the Portuguese star’s son to the professional team for the upcoming season, according to Arab publication Al Weeam. Only at the conclusion of the current season will the young star’s promotion be decided.
To find out how much the player can already contribute technically to the first team, Al-Nassr’s coaching staff will carefully evaluate the player’s developmental stage.
The Portuguese star has a one-year contract left with Al-Nassr, and the board want him to stay so it can continue to benefit as much as possible from his on-field performances.
Cristiano Ronaldo on course to lift silverware at end of season

Cristiano Ronaldo, who is very well-liked by the fans, is concentrating on winning trophies later this year as a result of his exceptional performances.
Al-Nassr are having a great run in the domestic league while preparing for the future of their players. With 76 points, the squad leads the Saudi Pro League (Roshn League) rankings and are actively vying for the trophy this year.
Cristiano Ronaldo Jr’s career so far
Ronaldo Jr. has trained at elite football academies, such as Real Madrid, Juventus, and Manchester United, following in his father’s footsteps. He is currently establishing himself as one of the game’s most promising young talents with Al Nassr.
Recently, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., 15, debuted for the Portugal U16 national team on October 30, 2025, in a 2-0 victory against Turkey in Antalya.
Including Cristiano Jr. in the first team squad would give him a unique opportunity to play alongside his father, who remains a mainstay of Al-Nassr’s senior team. However, the plan is still uncertain because club officials still need to assess whether his technical abilities are adequate for the demands of senior football.
Elsewhere in sports, fans have recently seen the father-son duo of LeBron James and Bronny James Jr. sharing the court and making it into the NBA playoffs. Ronaldo will be looking to do something similar if given the opportunity to share the pitch alongside his son.
How old is Cristiano Ronaldo Jr?
He is 15 years old (born on June 17, 2010).
