Ronaldo has not played in the last two league matches for the Saudi Pro League club.
A £43 million exit clause option in Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract will come into effect at the end of the current campaign. Reportedly, Al-Nassr will not obstruct Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure if the dissatisfied star pushes for a move this summer.
After essentially going on strike against Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) for favouring rival clubs in transfer activity, Ronaldo, 41, has missed Al-Nassr’s previous two games.
They are prepared to sever their relationship with the former Manchester United and Real Madrid superstar. Rumours say that Ronaldo would look to leave the Saudi Pro League after he missed Friday’s match against Al-Ittihad.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s antics have taken aback Saudi officials, according to ‘The i Paper’. However, they remain adamant that no player, not even the multiple Ballon d’Or winner, is superior to their goals for the league.
Al-Nassr target Cristiano Ronaldo’s replacement if he does end up leaving

They are prepared to “sign a new king” in light of this, should Ronaldo—who has been the league’s face since entering in December 2022—leave.
A source close to the league told the outlet: “With other big names leaving, we will look at lots of other marquee names in the summer. Mohamed Salah and Bruno Fernandes would be the perfect picks. Salah especially, given he would attract an Arab audience as a Muslim.“
Cristiano Ronaldo may return to Sporting Lisbon, as Manchester United have no interest in having him return to Old Trafford for a third stint.
But whether the Portuguese team can pay the £43 million fee that would be needed to lure Ronaldo back to Europe is still up in the air.
Al-Nassr defeated Al-Ittihad 2-0 on Friday night despite Ronaldo’s unavailability, thanks to two late goals from Sadio Mane, a former Liverpool player, and Angelo Gabriel.
Who are Al-Nassr targeting as Ronaldo’s replacement?
Bruno Fernandes and Salah.
In how many games has Cristiano Ronaldo not played?
He hasn’t played in their last two games.
Where do Al-Nassr stand in the table?
