England will cap off their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign today. They will face Albania in the last fixture of their qualifiers, which will be away from home.

The Three Lions’ 100% winning run in World Cup qualifying was extended on Thursday night. All thanks to two magnificent goals from Arsenal stars Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze against Serbia.

The Gunners pair easily guided the Three Lions to a 2-0 home victory against Serbia. England emerged as the first UEFA member to secure a World Cup ticket with early qualification in October. Their win over Serbia had no bearing on their standing in the group.

In the win over Andorra on Thursday, hosts Albania, who have also been on an impressive defensive streak lately, earned their fourth clean sheet in five games. It ensured that their hopes of qualifying for the World Cup would not yet be dashed.

In March, England had defeated Sylvinho’s team 2-0. It was Albania’s seventh defeat in seven encounters with the Three Lions, who had scored 21 goals and given up only one against them.
