Albania vs Spain Predicted lineup, betting tips, odds, injury news, H2H, telecast | UEFA Euro 2024
La Roja have five-point lead over the Red and Blacks in Group B.
It’s going to be do-or-die for Albania when they face an already-qualified Spain football team in the last Group B game of Euro 2024. The Red and Blacks secured a thrilling draw against Croatia after narrowly losing out to Italy in the campaign opener to keep their hopes alive.
For Spain, this happens to be a chilled match as they have comfortably won their past two games against Italy and Croatia and have already secured their round-of-16 berth. Mastermind Luis de la Fuente would look to bench some of his key players, to keep them safe and give others a chance.
Sylvinho’s side will have to treat this game as their last chance to proceed into the next round as the only way to keep hopes alive is a win. This also happens to be their toughest challenge as even stalwarts like Italy and Croatia also couldn’t make La Roja share points.
Kick-Off:
Tuesday, 25 June at 12:30 A.M. IST
Location – Merkur Spiel Arena (Dusseldorf Arena)
Form:
Albania (in all competitions): D-L-W-W-L
Spain (in all competitions): W-W-W-W-D
Players to Watch
Qazim Laci (Albania)
The 28-year-old scored an early goal against a formidable Croatia side in the last game. Coach Sylvinho will have full trust in Qazim Laci’s capabilities in this do-or-die encounter. Laci started as a CAM in the last game and was efficiently performing his duties against the 2018 World Cup runners-up.
Laci hails the quality to play as a CM and CDM too as and when required. He has scored three goals in the past eight international games despite getting minimal minutes. The Red and Blacks will look upon him to continue his impactful play and good run.
Aymeric Laporte (Spain)
It would be an ideal opportunity for the veteran defender to prove that he is still the best in this business. While many of the performing players would be rested by Luis de la Fuente, to not risk many injuries and suspensions, Aymeric Laporte is expected to start and play full minutes like he did against Italy.
He will need to bear the responsibility of all the goal-scoring threats bound to come against Spain as it’s a final chance for Albania in the tournament. The 30-year-old needs to keep himself calm, make error-free tackles, and lead the defence line effectively.

Injury and Team News
The entire Albania football team is fully fit and ready for selection. But, Sylvinho would not like to alter his starting XI and field the same team that earned a draw against Croatia.
Spain on the other hand will have Rodri out for picking two yellows and would rest Nacho and Ayoze Perez suffering from muscle and hamstring problems respectively. Luis de la Fuente also said that he would make some changes & rest some of his regular ones.
