Argentina will play two friendlies in the US to wrap up their FIFA World Cup 2026 preparations before starting their title defence against Algeria on June 16.
As part of their last preparation before the competition in the US, Canada, and Mexico, Lionel Scaloni’s team, the reigning world champion, will play Honduras and Iceland in June.
Kansas City has been selected as the team’s World Cup base. Argentina’s team is anticipated to use the Sporting KC Training Centre as their Team Base Camp for training, recuperation, team meetings, and operations in between games.
