Argentina vs Austria: Full list of substitutes for FIFA World Cup 2026 clash

Argentina and Austria have both won their first game in the FIFA World Cup.
Austria are all set to face Lionel Scaloni’s Argentina in the FIFA World Cup. Ralf Rangnick will face the defending champions for the first time in a competitive game, and it’s expected to be an exciting clash.
Both sides play different styles of football, and the game will be played on a synthetic pitch with hybrid grass. Thus, agile movements and quick counterattacks will be rewarded at the Dallas Stadium, which primarily hosts NFL games.
During their 3-1 win over Jordan, Austria broke the deadlock through Werder Bremen midfielder Romano Schmid. Ali Iyad Olwan found the equaliser in the 50th minute; however, an own goal by Yazan Abu Al-Arab helped Des Team restore their lead.
In the added time, Marko Arnautovic sealed the victory for Ralf Rangnick’s side by scoring from the penalty spot. On the other side, Lionel Messi scored a hat-trick to hand over the defending champions a 3-0 victory over Algeria in their opening game.
Argentina’s backline also performed strongly, as Algeria’s attack failed to get a single shot on target. However, Austria will likely come into the game prepared for all of these potential threats.
