When is Argentina World Cup squad announcement? Date & time revealed

La Albiceleste have announced the preliminary squad.
On May 11, Argentina revealed a 55-man preliminary squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, featuring Julian Alvarez, Lautaro Martinez, and Lionel Messi at the top.
In addition to facing Austria and Jordan in Group J, Argentina will begin their title defence against Algeria. Captain Messi, who has made more World Cup appearances (26) than any other Argentine male player, is scheduled to compete in a record sixth tournament in North America. However, it may be his last as Messi is 38 years old.
La Albiceleste’s confidence in their established core while incorporating younger players is demonstrated by the team announcement, which goes beyond roster management.
This time, Messi will not have as much regular experience playing good competitive football as players from Europe. He is now playing club football in the United States’ MLS. Additionally, he has made it clear that he does not want to be a “burden” to Argentina if he is not completely match-sharp.
When will Argentina announce the World Cup final squad?

We do not yet have a confirmed date for Argentina’s roster announcement. It is expected to be officially announced between 28 and 29 May. Head coach Lionel Scaloni wants to be very sure about his list before the announcement.
The final 26-player squads have to be submitted to FIFA by June 1. They will then officially announce all 48 national team squads on June 2.
There must be a minimum of 23 players and a maximum of 26 in the final team. As a result, nearly all teams will have a maximum of 26 players.
The requirement that three of these players be goalkeepers is the only additional requirement. Other than that, Scaloni has a lot of discretion over who he brings to the competition; some players are guaranteed spots in the squad provided they are fit, while others are competing to qualify.

Between 28 and 29 May.
What is the deadline day for final squad submission?
