Bukayo Saka chose to come up with a polite reply.
The England national football team was present during the Spanish GP, which took place in Catalonia. The Three Lions will next take on Andorra in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier match, which is set to take place on June 6.
During the gridwalk, only a few England players were spotted, and the national team manager, Thomas Tuchel was also present. England captain Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka and Dan Burn were the present players of the England football team during the gridwalk.
Alongside the players, there were other international celebs from the fields of sports, music and entertainment as well. There were also some media personnel who were covering the Spanish Grand Prix for their respective organisations. They went from Harry Kane to Dan Burn to get their views on the F1 event and regarding their upcoming match against Andorra.
Bukayo Saka’s reply
Sky Sports’ Simon Lazeby was assigned the duty on the gridwalk. First, he went to interview the England national football team captain Harry Kane, who looked in a joyful mood. Kane said, “I’m good, I’m hot, but looking forward to the race.” The Bundesliga forward was standing in support of McLaren’s Lando Norris and encouraged him “to go out there and be free.”
Then the Sky Sports reporter spotted Arsenal star Bukayo Saka, who was trying to stay out of the spotlight. Saka was asked about who he was supporting in the Spanish GP F1 event, to which he politely replied, “I don’t like to say,” and shook his head. Nico Rosberg was also handling the gridwalk duties and jokingly mentioned that Saka is not very friendly.
Simon Lazeby next turned his attention to Dan Burn of Newcastle United, who was more open to reply than Bukayo Saka. When asked about England’s next fixture, Dan Burn mentioned that he and his teammates are taking the match seriously and are not underestimating their upcoming opponents.
McLaren’s Oscar Piastri went on to finish the event in the first place, with Lando Norris finishing second. Charles Leclerc of Ferrari finished third, giving his side a back-to-back podium finish.
