The Gunners suffered a latest injury setback.
Bukayo Saka experienced a “niggle” prior to Arsenal‘s 0-0 draw at Nottingham Forest, according to Mikel Arteta. Over the past few months, Saka has been a constant in the Gunners lineup. This season, the 24-year-old has made 29 appearances in all competitions and contributed 13 goals.
Explaining his decision to name Saka as a substitute, Arteta said: “Bukayo had a lot of minutes, and as well, he had a niggle before the game. So we need to manage our players, and we have some fantastic players who can provide different things. We did try from the beginning.”
Saka is the most recent Arsenal player to sustain an injury. We take a look at the Gunners’ recent injury update.
