Arsenal injury update on William Saliba & more during international break

The centre-back has been omitted from the France squad.
Arsenal’s Premier League season has gotten off to a terrible start. In addition to having a bad run of games, the Gunners have also suffered some injuries.
William Saliba’s hobbling departure during the first few minutes of Sunday’s loss to Liverpool was the most recent setback. He has consequently been excluded from overseas duties.
Statement from the France team
The French national team released the following statement:
“After a discussion with Franck Le Gall, the French team doctor, Didier Deschamps confirmed the unavailability of William Saliba. The national coach has decided to call up Benjamin Pavard as a reinforcement.
“William Saliba, who started for Arsenal against Liverpool on Sunday, was forced off in the fifth minute. He will not be able to honour his call-up for the first training camp of the season. He is suffering from a sprained left ankle.”

Another recent injury setback for Arsenal has been Bukayo Saka. The England winger is expected to return in October after suffering a hamstring injury against Leeds.
Saka will join offensive teammate, Kai Havertz, a German forward, on the sidelines. Due to an injury Havertz sustained on the first day of the season, the former Chelsea player has already had surgery.
Mikel Arteta, however, is optimistic that his layoff won’t last for too long. Ben White, Christian Norgaard, and Martin Odegaard are the only injury boosts. The captain of Arsenal made a late appearance against Liverpool after being named on the bench. Following the international break, Norgaard and White are anticipated to return.
Due to a severe knee injury, longtime absentee Gabriel Jesus has not been able to play since January and is not anticipated to return anytime soon. The Brazilian has not been included in Arsenal’s roster for the Champions League’s league phase, the club have revealed.
Which injury has Saliba suffered?
He has suffered an ankle injury.
How long does it take to recover from a sprained ankle?
Ankle sprain recovery time varies based on severity. Minor sprains heal in 2-4 weeks, moderate sprains (partial ligament tears) in 3-6 weeks, and severe sprains (complete ligament tears) potentially take several months to heal.
