The Gunners are ready to shell out a hefty price to sign the Brazilian.

The Barcelona star Raphinha has apparently caught Arsenal’s attention again, and the English club are prepared to pay a hefty price for the Brazilian.

After a sluggish start to his career with the Catalan powerhouses, Raphinha has turned around his Barcelona fortunes and became their captain.

He has been the team’s best performer in the 2024–25 season, contributing 22 goals and assists in 17 games across all competitions. According to Fichajes, clubs throughout Europe, notably Premier League powerhouse Arsenal, are beginning to take notice of his play.

Finally aiming to cross the finish line this time, the Gunners are planning to strengthen their offence after missing out on his signing. Arsenal are big admirers of the Brazilian and want to break the bank to bring the forward to Emirates.

The north London team are prepared to pay an incredible €90 million (£75 million/$95 million) to sign the Brazilian, according to the report. Prior to the player’s final transfer from Leeds United to the Spanish side, the Gunners had expressed interest in him.

Raphinha was connected to a move abroad, as the Catalans considered selling him due to their current financial difficulties. But now that the winger is playing well, head coach Hansi Flick is unlikely to approve the player’s sale.

He has been influential this season and is making a significant impact in the Barcelona attack under Flick. The club are currently top of the LaLiga table and six points clear of second-place Real Madrid.

Raphinha also scored a goal in Brazil‘s 1-1 draw against Venezuela as he continues his fine form. Now it’s unlikely that the Spanish club would be entertaining any offer from other clubs for the former Leeds United player.

The player continues to focus on Barcelona for the time being, and he will return to action for them on Saturday when Flick’s team play Celta Vigo in LaLiga following the November international break.
