Arsenal announce travelling squad for USA pre-season tour 2024

The Gunners will face other Premier League giants in pre-season
Arsenal are set to travel to the USA for their pre-season tour with a mix of experienced and young players to play Bournemouth, Manchester United and Liverpool.
Numerous young players have been picked up by the team because of the absence of several players. Only Amario Cozier-Duberry travelled last year, and only Reuell Walters participated the year before, demonstrating Arteta’s reluctance to call young players.
Captain Martin Odegaard will be accompanied on the journey by Ben White, Gabriel Jesus, Jurrien Timber, Leandro Trossard, Jorginho, Jakub Kiwior and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Along with Reiss Nelson, Emile Smith Rowe, Eddie Nketiah, Fabio Vieira, and other first-team members, Karl Hein’s goalkeeping group is augmented by newcomers Tommy Setford and Lucas Nygaard, as well as youngster Alexei Rojas.
A new custodian Tommy Setford has been called up as well. Later after arriving from Ajax, Setford will embark on a tour. With Raya and Ramsdale not going for pre-season, the England youth international may even get some playing time.
On July 25, Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli, and Kai Havertz will become part of the team as a result of their participation in the Copa America and the Euros.
When Arsenal returns from America, the players who participated in the later stages of Euro 2024—Declan Rice, Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka, David Raya, and William Saliba—will reunite with the other players.
Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee) and Kieran Tierney (hamstring) will continue to be treated by the medical professionals at Sobha Realty Fitness Centre and will remain in London.
