Arsenal vs Manchester City: Start time in India, USA, UK, Australia & around the globe
Two Premier League giants meet each other in the EFL Cup final tonight.
When Arsenal and Manchester City square off in the Carabao Cup final tonight, one team will win the first significant trophy of the English calendar.
For the second time this season, the top two teams in the Premier League trade blows; their first encounter ended in a draw at the Emirates Stadium. Mikel Arteta, Pep Guardiola’s former protégé, is looking to win his first significant trophy with Arsenal since winning the FA Cup in 2020.
A victory would sustain hopes of an unprecedented quadruple for the balance of the season, in addition to ending Arsenal’s trophy drought and also dealing a psychological blow to their Premier League championship rivals.
Real Madrid destroyed Man City’s hopes of winning four trophies with the Champions League this midweek, making Sunday’s final even more important as Guardiola looks to win his first trophy since the FA Community Shield two years ago.
Even though they still have a game in hand, City are now nine points behind Arsenal in the Premier League; the domestic cup tournaments seem to be their best chances of winning.
