Barcelona identify three alternatives to Nico Williams: Report

Barca have failed to reach breakthrough in deal to sign Williams.
Barcelona appear to be looking at other options as there is no optimism about reaching a breakthrough deal with Nico Williams. The club have been hoping to complete his signing within the last few weeks. But the player has not made any decision.
The club have now shortlisted three players they could look to sign, which include Luiz Diaz, Rafael Leao and Kingsley Koman. However, both Diaz and Leao transfers will be challenging as their clubs will demand a massive price.
Meanwhile, Koman’s signing won’t be an issue. Bayern Munich are open to selling the forward this summer. He can leave either on loan or permanently, depending on how the suitors approach him.
The Spanish club will have to make a quick decision. They are moving slowly in the transfer window and have only signed one player so far. Barcelona are looking to bring a quality player to their left-wing spot.
With the right-wing already occupied by Raphinha and Lamine Yamal, Barca are now searching for a player who can excel on the left wing.
Williams was seen as an ideal player to fill up the spot. His qualities would have reinforced Barcelona’s attack to a great level. But his inability to make a call has seen Barcelona look for other options in the market.
One of the key issues has been bringing in a top player who can take care of the left wing. Over the years, the club have failed to locate a quality player who is excellent in one-on-one situations and also creates goalscoring chances.
All the options the club have mentioned will be ideal for them. But Leao and Diaz signing will be difficult as they have a massive value that Barcelona could fail to meet.
Koman is a wise option. They can even sign him on loan for the entire season and once again try to go for Williams next campaign.
