Barcelona are going to Italy to play Inter Milan in the second leg of their semi-final match, hoping to secure a position in the Champions League Final for the first time in ten years.

San Siro is where the action will be determined as the two teams battle for a spot in the championship final. The first leg was an intense match that ended in a 3-3 draw in the Catalan city.

This is how we believe Hansi Flick will line up his Barcelona side for the battle on Tuesday.

Goalkeeper: Wojciech Szczęsny

Despite the return of Andre Ter-Stegen, former Poland goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny will retain his spot for the semi-final match. Szczęsny has displayed a strong performance between the sticks, and manager Flick himself confirmed that the former Juventus goalie will be manning the sticks.

Defence: Eric García, Ronald Araujo Pau Cubarsí and Iñigo Martínez

Despite resting some of his key players to keep them as close to fresh as possible for what might be a 120-minute battle, Flick made nine changes to his starting lineup and managed to secure all three points against Real Valladolid over the weekend.

We believe Flick will continue with the back four that performed the majority of last week’s second half, with Eric García at right-back, Ronald Araujo and Pau Cubarsí in the middle, and Iñigo Martínez at left-back. Jules Kounde is out due to injury, along with Alejandro Balde.

Midfield: Frenkie de Jong, Pedri and Dani Olmo

If there are plenty of inquiries about the defense, there aren’t any about the midfield trio: Dani Olmo featured not much against Valladolid to ensure he’s at his best for this match, and Frenkie de Jong and Pedri both were given some minutes over the weekend and ought to be ready to play the entire game.

Although they won’t be starting in Milan, Fermín López and Gavi can offer much-needed vitality during the second half and/or extra time.

Attack: Lamine Yamal, Ferran Torres and Raphinha

Flick can rely on his attacking three to be relatively fresh and prepared to be spectacular in Italy and guide Barçelona to Munich, as Lamine Yamal participated just a little over 50 minutes and Raphinha only appeared in the second half of the match against Valladolid over the weekend.

Ferran Torres was rested for the entire match. Even if he joins the roster, Robert Lewandowski is unlikely to start, however, he might play some minutes in the second half.
