Barcelona have been linked with the England striker.
According to Xavier Vilajoana, a candidate to be the next president of FC Barcelona, under him the club are going to acquire “Harry Kane” if they don’t have a proper centre forward coming out of their academy.
The Poland international Robert Lewandowski is poised to depart Barcelona on a free transfer when his contract expires next summer.

The Catalan team will therefore need a new centre-forward in 2026. Kane of Bayern Munich is still being linked to a transfer to Camp Nou.
“We have incredibly talented players at La Masia, but of course, if we don’t have players, we will look elsewhere,” Vilajoana told Sky Sports.
Xavier Vilajoana, a contender to be the next president of Barcelona, has emphasised that the team should always try to promote from within. But he also discussed the significance of acquiring an additional striker if they don’t already have a viable long-term replacement for Lewandowski.
When asked if Kane could fit that description, the presidential candidate for Barcelona stated:
“If we don’t have a Harry Kane inside [the club], we are going to get him. Why not?”
Although Kane’s contract with Bayern still has two years left, it is believed that a release clause will make him available for £57 million next summer.
In 115 games across all competitions, the England captain has scored 109 goals and provided 29 assists for Bayern, including 76 goals and 21 assists in 74 Bundesliga games.
