The Catalan club wants to inject profit into the upcoming window.
According to reports, Barcelona, the Spanish LaLiga powerhouse, have put eight players available for transfer ahead of the 2025 summer transfer window. Despite their recent Champions League setback, Barcelona have had a respectable season thus far.
With three games remaining, Hansi Flick’s team currently lead Real Madrid by four points at the top of the LaLiga standings.
In addition to winning the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa de España this season, Barcelona are just one win away from the LaLiga title as well.
It has been reported that eight Barcelona players will be on the transfer list come summertime.
Iñaki Peña, Frenkie De Jong, Ronald Araujo, Héctor Fort, Fermín Lopez, Pablo Gavi, Pablo Torre, Pau Víctor, and Ansu Fati are among the players who could be sold this summer if the proper bids come in, according to Spanish news outlet Sport.
Gavi put up for sale by Barcelona
After a spectacular ascent to fame, teenage Spanish midfielder Gavi was once regarded as “untouchable.” However, since his recovery from a major knee injury, the 20-year-old has been in and out of Flick’s starting lineup.
Barcelona may, therefore, conclude that the moment has come to cash in on the midfield player. Winger Fati, who was highly regarded when he initially made his debut for the first team, has also had difficulty playing at his peak due to injuries.
According to the source, Barcelona are open to hearing bids for all players except Lamine Yamal. With 16 goals and 24 assists this season, Yamal, 17, has emerged as one of the top players in international football and is vying for the Ballon d’Or.
Deco, a former player who now serves as the club’s sporting director, is reportedly eager to add depth in four areas.
It has been reported that Barcelona are seeking to add a new full-back, striker, attacking midfielder, and goalkeeper, If Wojciech Szczesny opts to leave at the end of the current campaign. Tonight, Barcelona will return to LaLiga play at the RCDE Stadium against Espanyol.
