Bayern Munich planning move for Florian Wirtz in summer 2025

Wirtz has been a revelation for Leverkusen this season
After deciding to stay for another campaign at Bayer Leverkusen, Florian Wirtz has become Bayern Munich’s top target for 2025, according to Sky Sport Deutschland.
With 17 goals and 19 assists in all competitions, the 20-year-old midfielder has proven to be an outstanding player for Xabi Alonso’s team during their Bundesliga-winning campaign. Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Liverpool are among the top in Europe that are taking notice of his performances.
Wirtz, who joined Bayer Leverkusen in the offseason from Cologne’s development system, is anticipated to play one more season for the Bundesliga winners.
The German international’s family views the Bavarian club as a necessary stop on their possible overseas move, therefore the club’s management is optimistic about signing him. They are also looking forward to a move next summer.
Uli Hoeneß had alluded to this not so long ago. FC Bayern might “spend 100 million euros once on a Harry Kane, perhaps again on a German player, but not four or five times,” according to FCB honorary president Hoeneß. It is stated that Wirtz is this German player.

Bayern Munich knows of the fact that will need to spend more than 100 million euros for the German international, claims BILD. They are consequently contemplating a contract for the summer of 2025, as there is no way that Wirtz will leave Leverkusen this summer.
The Bayer Leverkusen CEO, Fernando Carro, recently stated in the Spanish daily Marca that Bayer would never allow Wirtz to leave for less than 150 million. But a few days later, Carro recanted, saying that naming a precise sum had not been the best course of action.
Carro categorically ruled out a transfer next summer: „We have a very good relationship with his parents. Their idea is for him to continue with us. In football, you can’t plan much longer than a year, but next season he will be playing in Leverkusen,“ he said.
