The Bavarians were only able to win the Bundesliga title during the 2024-25 season.

After their FIFA Club World Cup 2025 exit, Bayern Munich squad members are currently on a break before the new season begins. They will soon start training as they also have some pre-season friendly games to set a pace for their upcoming campaign.

Bayern Munich are once again the Bundesliga champions. They outplayed top teams like Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, etc to lift their 34th German Championship. The Bavarians did well in the league and were easily able to outplay their opponents.

However, the German giants failed to win any other titles during their whole 2024-25 run. Even if we talk about the domestic competitions other than the league, the Vincent Kompany-led side did not seem very impactful.

The Bavarians fell prey to Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the round of 16 of the DFB Pokal, which ended their run for the German Cup title. It was in 2020 that they last won the cup competition.

Their run in the UEFA Champions League also did not last long as they fell prey to Inter Milan in the quarterfinals of the European tournament, thus extending their wait to win another UCL.

In the Club World Cup 2025, they had a strong start, but they were eliminated by Paris Saint-Germain and were only able to reach the quarter-final stage of the tournament. Bayern Munich also suffered a major setback as Jamal Musiala was seriously injured and will be out for at least four to five months.

The Bavarians will have to work on building up a strong midfield. They will start their training for the new season soon.
