The World Cup is just a few days away.
From June 11 to July 19, Canada, Mexico, and the United States will host the 2026 World Cup. Several FC Bayern Munich players will compete for their national teams, competing for the most coveted title in world sport. Discover the list of all Bayern players heading to the competition
The German team for the World Cup includes seven Bayern Munich players. The German record champions comprise the largest group on the team, including Manuel Neuer, Jonathan Tah, Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Jamal Musiala, Lennart Karl, and Aleksandar Pavlović.
It will be Neuer’s final World Cup when he rejoins the national team after retiring after Euro 2024. Only Lothar Matthäus, the player with the most caps in the country, has represented Germany in as many World Cup competitions.
Musiala is participating in his second World Cup, while Kimmich and Goretzka are competing in their third. It will be Tah, Karl, and Pavlović’s first time playing in a World Cup.
However, there are many other Bayern stars, such as Harry Kane and Luis Diaz, who are also representing their respective nations.
