10. Dalian Atkinson

Dalian Atkinson is also known as the first Black player ever to play for Real Sociedad. He played in LaLiga for a single season. He scored 12 goals in his first and sole season in the Spanish football first division.

With his flair and confidence, he left a memorable mark in Spain during the 1990-1991 season.

9. Vinny Samways

Vinny Samways joined Las Palmas in 1996 when they were part of the Segunda, the second division of Spanish football. He then captained the club and led them to a LaLiga promotion. Samways became a hero for Las Palmas’ fans for his leadership skills and courage.

He joined Sevilla in 2002 and just appeared in 10 matches for them.

8. Michael Owen

During the 2004-05 season, Michael Owen became a part of Real Madrid but just for a single season. After his great performances for Liverpool, Los Blancos signed a deal for the English striker. In his first and only season in the Spanish top flight, he scored 13 goals in 36 appearances, even after facing heavy competition for a starting spot.
