The 2024 UEFA European Championships in Germany have begun and are viewed by football fans worldwide. It is referred to as one of the most difficult international major tournaments due to the quality of teams and the players competing for top honours.
The trend continues in this edition of the UEFA Euros. Players from all across Europe’s top international teams will collide with each other to fight for the title of European champions. The individuals playing at the Euros ply their trade in major leagues across the globe, including Spain’s LaLiga.
The Spanish top division houses several world-class individuals representing their respective football national teams at the tournament. Keeping the focus on Spain’s LaLiga, here is the best XI of players who feature in the league and are competing at the 2024 UEFA European Championships:

GK – Jan Oblak
Jan Oblak plays for Atletico Madrid in LaLiga and is representing Slovenia at the 2024 UEFA Euros. The Slovenian national team finds itself in Group C along with England, Serbia and Denmark.
RCB – Jules Kounde
Jules Kounde will be playing for France in the 2024 UEFA Euros, one of the favourites to win the whole competition. The defender notably plays for FC Barcelona in LaLiga after signing for the Spanish giants from Sevilla FC in 2022.
CB – Antonio Rudiger
Antonio Rudiger is entering the Euros on the back of a highly successful season with Real Madrid. The centre-back played a key role for the Spanish outfit in winning LaLiga and the UEFA Champions League. He will hope to guide host nation Germany to a fourth European title.

LCB – Robin Le Normand
Robin Le Normand is a key player for Real Sociedad in LaLiga. The defender is going to represent Spain at the Euros and hopes to replicate his club performances at the international level. Eyes will be on the 27-year-old and how contributes to La Roja’s ambitions of winning the trophy.
CDM – Toni Kroos
Toni Kroos came out of international retirement to represent Germany one last time at the 2024 UEFA Euros before hanging his boots for good. He comes into the tournament after retiring from club-level football following a 2023-24 UEFA Champions League and LaLiga-winning season with Real Madrid.
CM – Jude Bellingham
Jude Bellingham also plays for Real Madrid and had a wonderful debut season for the Spanish giants in the 2023-24 season. He is going to be a key figure in England’s squad in the upcoming tournament as the Three Lions attempt to go one step better than their runners-up finish in the previous edition, i.e., the 2020 Euros.
CM – Pedri
Pedri is back to full fitness and is in Spain’s squad at the 2024 UEFA European Championships. The FC Barcelona midfielder suffered multiple injury setbacks which kept him out of a huge chunk of the 2023-24 season. However, the manager of the Spain football team, Luis de la Fuente, will be happy to have the 21-year-old in the squad.
CAM – Antoine Griezmann
Antoine Griezmann still remains one of France’s key players. The Atletico Madrid attacker won the 2018 FIFA World Cup with Les Bleus and will give his utmost to guide France to winning the Euros after finishing second in 2016 to Portugal.
RW – Lamine Yamal
Lamine Yamal is set to attract a lot of attention in his first-ever UEFA Euros campaign with Spain. The 16-year-old attacker emerged into prominence due to his stellar performances for FC Barcelona throughout the 2023-24 season. He’s already scored twice in seven national team appearances and will look to add more goals.
LW – Kylian Mbappe
Kylian Mbappe makes this list after his sensational move to Real Madrid was confirmed recently. The French sensation will play in LaLiga from the next season onwards and add even more quality to a star-studded Real Madrid squad. The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner hopes to win the Euros for the first time ever with France in this edition.
ST – Artem Dovbyk
Artem Dovbyk is going to be one of the strikers who will be under a lot of attention at the Euros. The Ukraine international had an excellent season with Girona FC in LaLiga, helping the side qualify for the UEFA Champions League by scoring 24 goals and winning the Golden Boot. He has 10 goals in 28 appearances for Ukraine and is likely to add to those numbers in Germany.
