Former Manchester United player, Wes Brown, has said that Ronaldo’s body should be given to “scientists” when he retires from the sport, due to his out-of-this-world fitness level at 40.

Brown has played alongside Ronaldo. He praises Ronaldo for his consistency. Speaking on behalf of UK casinos Casino.org, Brown told GOAL when asked about the evergreen Portugal international and his ongoing commitment to playing at the highest level:

“His body should be given to scientists when he finally rests! He’s a machine.

“He obviously likes it there [Al-Nassr]. He gets treated well. Believe me, if he didn’t want to carry on, he wouldn’t. He loves the game. He’s enjoying himself. He still does the business, and that’s all you can hope for.

“He’s willing to put his body through stuff just to carry on playing football. For him, I’m really happy he’s been able to do that.”

What’s up with Ronaldo?

Ronaldo returned to action for Al-Nassr during the pre-season games, and the striker, as usual, was back to his old routine, scoring goals for fun during the friendlies.

Last season, he led Portugal to the second UEFA Nations League trophy, marking his impact at the international level even at age 40. Moreover, he signed a new deal with Al-Nassr that will see him remain at the club till 2027.

Furthermore, he also has another objective in mind, which is to reach 1,000 career goals. He will be hoping to reach that mark by the end of his contract at the club.
