The Seagulls have a long list of injuries.

This Saturday, Brighton & Hove Albion will play their first Premier League 2024-25 match at the Amex Stadium against newly promoted Ipswich Town.

At the Emirates Stadium, the Seagulls, led by Fabian Hurzeler, drew 1-1 with Arsenal then defeated Everton and Manchester United to take seven points from their opening three Premier League games.

Ipswich, managed by Kieran McKenna, have had a difficult start to life in the top flight, losing at both Manchester City and Liverpool. However, they started the season with a 1-1 draw at Portman Road against Fulham.

Solly March, the Albion winger is still recovering from a catastrophic ACL injury he suffered while playing against Man City in the previous season. There’s a chance for him to come back in October.

Gruda Brajan, the £25 million summer acquisition from Mainz will miss this match as he recovers from his undisclosed ailment.

Ferdi Kadioglu, the Turkey international was hurt during practice following his £25 million transfer from Fenerbache. It is anticipated that the left-back will miss this matchup with Ipswich.

Riley Matt, six minutes into his debut, the £25 million summer acquisition from Celtic suffered an injury that required ankle surgery. Expected to return prior to the end of the 2024-25 season.

Mats Wieffer on his debut against Everton, the midfielder for the Netherlands had a minor injury. After the international break, Hurzeler expects to get him back against Ipswich.

James Milner, the 38-year-old is anticipated to be out following his hamstring injury sustained at the Emirates Stadium against Arsenal before the international break.

Joel Veltman, the seasoned defender suffered a thigh injury in his dramatic clash with Declan Rice. Harry Clarke, the Ipswich defender will not be able to play again until next month due to a calf injury.
