Bruno Fernandes NOT considering leaving Manchester United in January 2026: Report

Bruno Fernandes, the captain of Manchester United, has no intention of looking to leave the team this month.
Following the firing of head coach Ruben Amorim, reports have surfaced in recent days that Fernandes is thinking about his future at Old Trafford.
Following Amorim’s dismissal, Bruno Fernandes visited Carlos Fernandes, one of Amorim’s members of the coaching staff, raising concerns among some that the 31-year-old could be seeking a way out.

Sources with knowledge of the situation, however, claim that Fernandes is still dedicated to the team. This is despite the turmoil that resulted in Darren Fletcher being named interim manager for two games and Michael Carrick taking over as caretaker for the remainder of the season.
He always intended to review the issue in the summer, when he would have one year remaining on his contract. Bruno Fernandes would like to remain in Europe if he were to leave United. This is despite declining a sizable offer from Al-Hilal last summer and ongoing attention from the Saudi Pro League.
The former Sporting CP player recently acknowledged that he was “hurt” to learn that United were eager to sell him. He said that senior authorities lacked the guts to inform him, while Amorim wanted Fernandes to stay.
Since joining United from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020, Bruno Fernandes has made 310 appearances and scored 103 goals. He will now play at Old Trafford for his ninth manager.
After replacing former teammate Darren Fletcher, Michael Carrick has been named as the club’s manager for the end of the current campaign. When United play rivals Manchester City on Saturday afternoon, he will try to have a successful start to his second term as manager.
