The midfielder is linked with Saudi and MLS clubs.
According to reports, Bruno Fernandes, the captain of Manchester United, is open to joining the Saudi Pro League or Major League Soccer.
According to the Daily Mail, the United captain is amenable to leaving the team at the conclusion of the 2025–2026 season. He is willing to do that by the end of the season in order to prevent any problem prior to representing Portugal in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. However, after the tournament, he would then think about moving to Saudi Arabia, the MLS, or another major league in Europe.
Earlier this year, Fernandes turned down a very generous offer from the Saudi team Al-Hilal. Moreover, United have no plans to part with their lucky charm. However, the Red Devils “may be prepared” to consider offers for the midfield player in 2026 as Fernandes approaches his 32nd birthday.
It is somewhat unlikely that Bruno Fernandes will move this summer, according to the source. But if Al-Ittihad make him a big offer before the Saudi transfer market closes on September 10, things might change. The Portuguese star could reportedly make more than triple his current pay there.

Fernandes earlier revealed he will be open to leaving United if they want to sell him
Bruno Fernandes, who earlier this month revealed the Saudi interest, said he has unresolved business at Old Trafford. This is despite having stated in the wake of United’s UEFA Europa League final loss to Tottenham in May that he would get it if the club cashed in on him.
“It was a very ambitious proposal. The president was a fantastic person,” he said. “But I haven’t fulfilled my dreams here yet.”
“Obviously, I know it was tough on the club to decide that because it was a big amount of money that the club hasn’t got probably since Cristiano [Ronaldo] left, he was the last one where they got so much money for a player.”
