The Reds will face Mexico in the semi-final of the competition.

The 60-man preliminary team for the 2025 CONCACAF Nations League has been submitted by Canada manager Jesse Marsch. The final 23-man roster must be announced by March 10.

On March 23, they have the opportunity to play either the United States or Panama in the final after facing Mexico in the semifinal.

Shola Jimoh, a 16-year-old York United phenom, is a member of Canada’s squad. He recently participated in a November training camp for the senior men’s national team. Jimoh scored two goals during Concacaf qualifying this past month, helping Canada earn a spot in the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

There are also some other interesting young national team players in the Canada team’s preliminary group. Both Bournemouth striker Daniel Jebbison and Union Saint-Gilloise striker Promise David have received a chance. It will be interesting to see if they will make the 23-man squad.

Santiago Lopez of Pumas UNAM, who recently netted against Cavalry FC of the CPL in the Concacaf Champions Cup competition, and Justin Smith of Espanyol in LaLiga are also on the list.

Other notable names on the provisional squad list of Canada are Dieu-Merci Michel of Vitoria SC and Jovan Ivanisevic, who was recently loaned to Bologna’s U-20 club in Italy, following his time in the Croatian first division.
