When the game was considered done for Qatar, Boualem Khoukhi applied heavy pressure on the Swiss defender Miro Muheim, who slotted the ball into his own net in the 94th minute, as the nation defied all odds to secure a historic first-ever World Cup point.
The most standout player for Qatar in the matchup was undoubtedly goalkeeper Mahmud Abunada, who made an astonishing six saves to guide his side to a monumental result. The team will be expecting similar performances from the player against the heavily attacking Canadian side.
