Porto's Cardoso Varela on transfer wishlist of top European clubs including Manchester City & Real Madrid

The Portuguese is just 15-year-old
Real Madrid and Manchester City are allegedly keeping an eye on Cardoso Varela, a promising player from Porto. The two dominant European teams are getting ready to play one other on Wednesday night in the second leg of their quarterfinal Champions League match.
Both, meanwhile, have made investments in building top-notch academy systems; over time, City has managed to overtake some of its older competitors.Rico Lewis and Phil Foden stand out as Manchester City’s most notable recent graduates, while a number of other homegrown players, notably Cole Palmer, have been moved for a high price.
Real Madrid have recently been less willing to bring up-and-coming youngsters into the senior ranks, preferring to invest substantially in a number of young Brazilian players.Since then, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo have emerged as two of the greatest players in the world, while Endrick, 17, is scheduled to join the offensive options this summer.
