Carlo Ancelotti's Head-to-Head record against Bayern Munich

The Italian manager has faced the German club with two different clubs
Without question, Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, will go down in history as one of the greatest managers of all time. The Italian is the first manager in history to have won four Champions Leagues and to have won one league championship in each of the top five European leagues (Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Serie A, Premier League, and La Liga).
And if anyone is tired of seeing the former AC Milan manager, it’s Madrid’s opponent Bayern Munich in the UCL semifinals.
Even when we take into account that Ancelotti coached the Bavarian powerhouse in 2016 and 2017, that assertion pretty much stays true. The former Italy player won back-to-back DFL Supercups and the Bundesliga in his lone full season in command after succeeding the departing Pep Guardiola.
But only a few weeks into his second season, his stint in Munich came to an end with a 3-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League group stage. According to reports from Germany, Ancelotti was losing the players’ backing because they felt that the manager’s drills were not rigorous enough.
As a coach, the Italian has faced the Bundesliga’s biggest teams nine times and is unbeaten, winning six of them and drawing three.
Six times in his eight years as Milan’s boss, Ancelotti faced Bayern in the Champions League. The Germans were the team the Rossoneri faced in the opening group round and defeated them 2-1 both at home and away en route to winning the competition in 2002–03.
