The Selecao will look to bounce back from a 1-1 draw with Morocco.
After failing to get the better of Morocco in their FIFA World Cup 2026 opener, Brazil will look to get back to winning ways when they take on minnows Haiti at Lincoln Financial Field on June 20.
The five-time champions endured a really difficult outing against Morocco. The Atlas Lions surprised the South American giants by dominating the first half and eventually taking the lead through Ismael Saibari. Vinicius Junior responded after the half-hour mark, but the Selecao could not get a winner.
Head coach Carlo Ancelotti brushed aside concerns over the performance by saying, “We can’t expect the team to be perfect from the start; you don’t win the World Cup in the first match.” However, the Italian would surely have been disappointed to see his side struggle against a weaker opponent.
Ancelotti tipped to make big changes

According to local media reports, the former Real Madrid manager is slated to opt for a new-look starting XI for the group-stage game against Haiti in Philadelphia. The head coach attempted several new combinations and tactics during the team training session on Tuesday, which might provide clues about Brazil‘s possible starting XI.
Vinicius Junior and Igor Thiago started in a two-pronged attack against Morocco. However, Ancelotti reportedly experimented with a four-man attack made of Vinicius, Luiz Enrique, Rayan, and Matheus Cunha.
In midfield, Bruno Guimaraes and Al-Ittihad man Fabinho were each tested in the holding midfield role. This means that Casemiro, who saw a yellow card against the Atlas Lions, might be dropped.
Marquinhos, who captained the side in the last match, might be dropped as Gabriel was reportedly paired with Juventus defender Gleison Bremer at centre-back. Alex Sandro kept his place at left-back, while veteran Danilo was reportedly deployed at right-back.
