The legendary Italian manager has been appointed as the head coach of Selecao.
As he prepares to guide Brazil’s national team, the Seleção, toward a bright future, Carlo Ancelotti is venturing into uncharted territory. Since this is Ancelotti’s first time leading a national team, the appointment represents a major turning point in his remarkable career.
The news was eventually confirmed after months of speculation when Ancelotti acknowledged the hiring at a press conference, and the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) followed suit.
The acclaimed Italian strategist is ready for this exciting chapter. He is well-known for his successful stints at some of Europe’s top clubs, including Real Madrid, Milan, Chelsea, PSG, Bayern Munich, and Juventus. However, it’s possible that he’s not joining them alone.
According to reports, Ancelotti is considering hiring Kaká, a former Brazilian prodigy, as a member of his coaching team. If his son, Davide Ancelotti, is unable to join the team because of personal or professional commitments, this will be especially interesting. Davide Ancelotti is linked with the Rangers head coach job.
Journalist Benjamin Back of CNN Brazil revealed this development and said Kaká is a good candidate for an assistant coaching position. Ancelotti and Kaká have a well-established relationship; given Kaká has played under the Italian manager, they reunited for a successful stint at Real Madrid, solidifying their strong working relationship.
Despite the fact that no formal bids have been made, Kaká’s reputation is growing in Brazilian football circles. His involvement could be a great asset to Ancelotti’s coaching staff, given the uncertainty surrounding Davide’s involvement in the Verdeamarela project.
The potential signing of a legend like Kaká might inject the national team with newfound enthusiasm and confidence as they approach the challenges ahead.
In pursuit of a World Cup victory, Kaka’s acceptance of this offer would launch his coaching career at the highest level of international football, giving Brazil’s technical staff vital knowledge and the appeal of a star presence, given that the former star also has experience with his national team.
