Celta Vigo vs Las Palmas Prediction, lineups, betting tips & odds

Los Celestes will take on Los Amarillos on matchday 29 in the LaLiga.
Celta Vigo and Las Palmas have experienced very different campaigns, with Celta pushing for European qualification and Las Palmas battling against relegation this season. Celta showed little mercy in their past six matches at Balaidos, of which they won five, drew none and lost once. They have exceeded expectations this season as they have played some really good football and have shown their quality on the pitch.
In 28 games, they have won 11, drawn six and lost 11 games. With 39 points on the table, they are sitting at the eighth spot in LaLiga. Vigo will aim to get a European spot and will have to keep their momentum going in the upcoming games.
Las Palmas appointed former Granada manager Deigo Martinez, and they managed to improve massively. But since the turn of the year, the Canary Islanders have once again collapsed into the bottom three and the relegation places. Against Real Valladolid, they gained a 1-1 draw before coming up short against Real Betis, who ran out 1-0 winners.
Lately, they finished even in a 2-2 draw with Alaves. Las Palmas didn’t manage to get a single away win in their last six LaLiga matches. They will have to be at their best to at least get a draw here. This will be a mouthwatering clash for sure.

Players to Watch
Borja Iglesias (Celta Vigo)
He has a very strong goal-scoring instinct and can score from inside the box. Even though his stats may not look very impressive, he is a fine player who is capable of making a difference on the pitch. He is someone who does not like to stay involved in the game and mostly plays as a target man upfront.
Despite having a very strong frame, he is not very good at winning duels and quite often loses ball possession. Technically is a good player who can create as well as finish chances very well. In 28 matches this season, he has scored five goals and provided one assist.
Alberto Moleiro (Las Palmas)
Moleiro has spent his whole career at Las Palmas and has been playing in the first team since 2021. He boasts world-class technique and audacious flair. Moleiro looks to push the ball forward and attack the opponent’s penalty area every time he receives possession. He is capable of cutting inside and shifting towards the box to look for passing options.
He has the technical ability to move out of pockets and find spaces for himself before creating attacking chances. His playing style is a bit like Pedri’s, but both of them play in different positions. He has incredible strength and pace, which allow him to take on players in 1v1 duels. In 26 matches this season, he has scored five goals.
