James & Colwill - Chelsea injury news for Nottingham Premier League clash

Ahead of Chelsea’s match against Nottingham Forest, Calum McFarlane has given an injury update. When the Blues play Vitor Pereira’s team at Stamford Bridge on Monday afternoon, a few well-known players may return to the matchday roster.
Reece James has resumed training, McFarlane said in an interview with the press at Cobham Training Ground on Friday afternoon. The Chelsea captain has missed the last seven games in all competitions due to a hamstring injury sustained in March.
Colwill recently made two appearances for the Under-21 team, the second of which took place last Saturday.
In the Premier League 2 play-offs, Levi Colwill guided Harry Hudson’s team to a 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough despite suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury at the beginning of the preseason.
“Reece is back in training and Levi, both looking good. A little way to the game so we’ll see how they do but both are looking promising. We’re taking it day by day. Levi has had a long injury. Reece had a really good run and was then injured again so we don’t want to push too much.”
It is expected that Chelsea will field a team that is comparable to the one that began at Wembley Stadium following an improved and successful performance against Leeds United.
As a result, James and Colwill can end up on the bench as substitutes and only be able to play in the second half at most.
The Blues were vying for a Champions League spot, but a run of defeats has pushed them to the eighth spot, after sitting in the fifth spot for a long period of time.
