Chelsea injury update ahead of Everton clash; Enzo Fernandez ruled out

The Blues compete for a spot in Europe
Chelsea are sitting ninth in the Premier League and will face Everton in their next Premier League match. The Blues have a game in hand over the two opponents sitting above them. A good end to the season could secure them a spot in Europe next season.
However, there is a major update on the injury news of the Blues ahead of their crucial clash against the Toffees. Enzo Fernandez has been ruled out for the fixture along with defender, Axel Disasi.
With the likes of Raheem Sterling, Robert Sanchez, Levi Colwill, Wesley Fofana, Reece James, Romeo Lavia, Christian Nkunku and Lesley Ugochukwu already ruled out, this is a huge blow for Pochettino and his men.
It has been a mixed season for Chelsea with plenty of highs and lows. The Blues are currently sitting ninth in the Premier League 2023-24 table. Mauricio Pochettino’s side has won 12, drawn eight and lost 10 games this season.
The Blues won a terrific midweek game against Manchester United. Pochettino’s men scored two goals and then allowed the opposition to make a comeback. The Red Devils took the lead in the second half and were cruising past Chelsea. Cole Palmer had some other plans and scored two late goals to win the match for his side.

Axel Disasi has played 28 league games in his debut season. The defender is a regular for the squad and scored two goals.
The Blues will take on Manchester City in the FA Cup after Everton’s game. Mauricio will expect to see his two regular starters back in the team.
