Chelsea plotting 'game-changing' offer for Sunderland star Jobe Bellingham

The youngster is being courted by many Premier League clubs.
According to sources, Chelsea are preparing a “game-changing” transfer offer for Jobe Bellingham. Over the last two seasons, Jobe Bellingham has had a significant influence at Sunderland, assisting the Black Cats in moving up into the Championship playoff spots as they aim to be promoted to the Premier League.
Jobe made his debut with Birmingham City, just like his brother, and then joined Sunderland in the summer of 2023.
It seems doubtful that Jobe will continue to play at the Stadium of Light by 2028, even though Sunderland gave the 19-year-old a fresh deal last year that would keep him with the team until then.
European powerhouses Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund, as well as Premier League teams Tottenham and Crystal Palace, have expressed interest in the midfield player due to his outstanding play.
It was also reported that during the January transfer window, Manchester United and Arsenal, two of the biggest teams in the Premier League, were keeping an eye on Jobe’s situation at the club.
The older Bellingham brother started to flourish at Dortmund, and later joined Real Madrid. He even became a regular for England and one of the world’s top players.
According to The Sun, Chelsea have joined the competition to recruit Jobe and are prepared to outbid their rivals with a high-profile contract offer.
Despite spending a lot of money on players over the last three years, those in charge are still eager to see more players at the club.
If Sunderland win promotion to the Premier League, they are certain they can retain the England U21 star. But if they stay in the Championship, they most probably will be prepared for bids.
The Sun claims that Chelsea’s interest in Jobe Bellingham is “game-changing,” notwithstanding the transfer rumors surrounding him.
When Jude Bellingham (Jobe’s brother) moved to Borussia Dortmund, Birmingham City “retired” his No. 22 shirt, raising eyebrows. Now that the midfielder has made a name for himself as one of the greatest players in the world of football, the decision seems more reasonable.
Jude moved to Real Madrid for £88.5 million in 2023 after three years in Germany, and he had a fantastic first season at the Bernabeu.
