The Blues were recently crowned as the champions of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.

Although Chelsea were not the best in the English Premier League, they still went on to win a couple of major titles during their 2024-25 campaign. Enzo Maresca did very well in that regard. The Blues managed to secure the UEFA Champions League spot for the upcoming season.

In their last few seasons, Chelsea have improved quite a lot. Last season, they went on to win the UEFA Conference League and then summed up the campaign after defeating the mighty PSG to clinch the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 title.

The Blues delivered one of their best performances against the side which dominated the European scenario and defeated teams like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, etc in the mega competition. They secured a dominating win in the final. The English team scored three goals and maintained a clean sheet.

Enzo Maresca-led side came up with some decent performances in their domestic competitions, if not the best. Their Premier League campaign was going good at the start, but they saw a drop in form after the halfway point of the season. However, they still managed to finish fourth and secured a spot for the UCL next season.

Their performances in the domestic cup competitions were not very pleasing. Chelsea were knocked out of the Carabao Cup after facing a defeat at the hands of Newcastle United, who later went on to win the tournament.

They also failed in the FA Cup. The Blues were eliminated after their fourth-round defeat at the hands of Brighton. This time around, they will be looking to turn things up a bit.

They signed some new players for their recent Club World Cup campaign and have gained results from their signings. The London team will now take the opportunity to compete in some friendly games before the start of the season. It will be interesting to see their approach in the games.
