The newest star player of Chelsea is none other than Cole Palmer. The English midfielder joined the Blues from Manchester City in September 2023. Since then, Palmer has led Chelsea to wins in important matches across all competitions.

He is now the latest addition to the top 10 list of Chelsea players with the most goals in the Premier League. Cole Palmer has netted 37 goals in 67 appearances, which is a good number for a midfielder.

9. Nicolas Anelka (125 Appearances, 38 Goals)

The Frenchman joined Chelsea in January 2008. Nicolas Anelka was mainly a centre-forward who also played as a second striker and sometimes as a right winger. During his time at Chelsea, Anelka scored a decent number of goals for the Blues in the Premier League.

He scored 38 goals in 125 EPL matches, and his value on the transfer list increased with time. Nicolas Anelka has played for teams like Real Madrid, Arsenal, PSG and more.

8. John Terry (492 Appearances, 41 Goals)

John Terry is one of the well-known faces in the history of football. He was a youth player for Chelsea who joined the main squad in March 1998. Terry played as a centre-back and left a lasting impact on his opponents.

He contested in 492 Premier League games for Chelsea and scored 41 goals during his time with the Blues. The Englishman left the club in 2017 to join Aston Villa.

7. Diego Costa (89 Appearances, 52 Goals)

The Spaniard is a well-known centre-forward who has played for many teams. Diego Costa joined from Atletico Madrid in July 2014 and put in some decent numbers in his four years at the club. Costa made 89 appearances in the EPL for the Blues and netted 52 goals.

The Spaniard went back to Atleti after his time with Chelsea in 2018.

6. Eidur Gudjohnsen (186 Appearances, 54 Goals)

Eidur Gudjohnsen made a move to Chelsea in 2000. He was one of the main men in the attacking front for the Blues. The Iceland international contested in 186 Premier League fixtures for Chelsea and scored 54 goals, which is not a very impressive number for a forward.

He did engrave his name in the history of the Blues.

5. Gianfranco Zola (229 Appearances, 59 Goals)

The Italian forward made a move to Chelsea at the halfway point in his career from the Serie A side Parma. Gianfranco Zola did come up with some decent performances for the Blues. He scored 59 goals in 229 Premier League appearances.

Zola mainly played as a second striker for the Blues after joining them in November 1996.

4. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (136 Appearances, 69 Goals)

The Dutch forward became a part of Chelsea in 2000 from Atletico Madrid. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink spent four years playing for the Blues. He put up some decent numbers for Chelsea in the English Premier League.

Hasselbaink appeared 136 times for the Blues in the EPL and scored 69 goals.

3. Eden Hazard (245 Appearances, 85 Goals)

Eden Hazard was one of the top players to ever play for Chelsea. From his ball control to play-making skills, Hazard was a crucial part of Chelsea and won two Premier League titles, two Europa League titles, an FA Cup and a League Cup.

Hazard made 245 EPL fixtures and scored 85 goals, which is a decent number as a winger. The Belgian forward later joined Real Madrid, where he was unable to fit into the system.

2. Didier Drogba (254 Appearances, 104 Goals)

Didier Drogba has played an important role during his time with Chelsea. He led the Blues from the attacking front and did come up with some great performances. Drogba is considered one of the greatest players to ever play for the club.

Didier Drogba scored 104 goals in 254 Premier League games, leaving a lasting impact on the fans. He won a UCL title, four EPL titles, four FA Cups and two League Cups.

1. Frank Lampard (429 Appearances, 147 Goals)

Frank Lampard is the top goal scorer for the Blues in the English Premier League. He teamed up with the Blues in 2001. He knew how to establish control in the midfield and, more importantly, he scored goals.

There have been only a few midfielders as capable as Lampard was. The English midfielder scored 147 goals in 429 EPL appearances and won a total of 13 trophies during his time.
