Chido Obi-Martin included in Denmark U21 squad for friendly games against Poland & Italy

The teenager is now playing for the Manchester United senior team.

Manchester United teenager Chido Obi-Martin has received his call-up to the Denmark U-21 squad, who will face Poland and Italy in friendly matches to prepare for their upcoming Euro-21 games.

Obi-Martin, who signed for United, had been playing with the academy team before he was promoted to the first-team squad by new manager Ruben Amorim. The teenager has already made his first-team debut for the team. He has two Premier League appearances so far, and many more should come soon for the promising player.

He has now received a chance to represent the Denmark U-21 team for the upcoming friendlies matches. The player will most likely get a chance to further show his quality before the Euro-21 competition.

If he shines for the Danes in the exhibition matches, then he might also get a chance to play in the Euro U-21, which will start in June.

Denmark are in group D of the Euro U-21, which also consists of Finland, Netherlands and Ukraine. Their first game will be against Ukraine on 12th June, then Netherlands on 16th and Finland on 18th.

Denmark U-21 have gotten many other talented stars in their roster for the friendly matches, and it will be interesting to see who will impress in upcoming encounters as they will further have a chance to get a call-up for the Euro U-21 tournament.
