Top three clubs who could sign Kevin De Bruyne this summer

De Bruyne confirmed he will leave Man City after the end of the season.
Kevin De Bruyne has confirmed that he will leave Manchester City after the end of the season. The versatile midfielder will become a free agent, and many clubs will be keen on signing the playmaker during the summer transfer window. Over a decade, the Belgium star etched his name in the history of Manchester City, where he won several trophies and established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
With the player confirming his exit from the club after the end of the season, we below take a look at the top three clubs which could be the midfielderās potential destination in the summer.
3. San Diego FC
The Sporting Director of San Diego disclosed that he has discussed a potential summer transfer to Major League Soccer with Kevin De Bruyne.
San Diego FC, the newest Major League Soccer team, have made the Belgium midfielder their top target for the summer transfer window. Now that De Bruyne has announced his exit from Man City after the end of the season, they will attempt to sign the player in the summer. Tyler Heaps, the sporting director for San Diego, has also acknowledged that he has had transfer discussions with the 33-year-old.
Speaking to The Sun, Heaps said: āThose rumours, I donāt know where they come from. I talked to the agent. The agent has many players, obviously. Every time I see it, I say, āAre you the one that is saying all this stuff?ā Heās a fantastic footballer and he loves this area.
2. Galatasaray
Foot Mercatoās most recent rumours indicate that Galatasaray have an interest in signing De Bruyne, who may play a significant role in the teamās future endeavours. But the race for the 33-year-old playmaker has gotten much fiercer, so the Turkish powerhouses are not alone in the race.
The fact that Kevin De Bruyneās contract with Manchester City will expire at the end of the 2024ā2025 campaign and that he confirmed his exit himself is one of the reasons the Turkish club will test the water along with other teams. A number of clubs, notably Galatasaray, may find the Belgian even more appealing as he will be leaving the Cityzens on a free transfer.
1. Al-Nassr
Al-Nassr are also among the clubs keen on signing the player. They are āconfidentā in their ability to entice Kevin de Bruyne of Manchester City to Saudi Arabia with a huge contract.
Al-Nassr are apparently prepared to pay De Bruyne an unbelievable £1 million per week, which would be a huge rise from his current £400,000 salary. TEAMtalk claims that the club is eager to go to unusual measures to get De Bruyne to the Saudi Pro League. De Bruyne has previously expressed hesitancy to leave Europe for a move to the Middle East, so his decision is uncertain despite the financial benefit.
