A Spanish team holds the record for most UCL finals appearances.
The Champions League is, without a doubt, the most well-known and competitive of all the club football competitions in the world. Furthermore, although the Champions League structure has altered since it was first held in 1956, its prestige has remained constant. The top teams from the Old Continent compete annually with the huge ambition to win the famous Champions League trophy.
Everyone tries to do it, but very few actually succeed; it’s more of a journey than an ultimate goal. Playing for teams whose DNA is to win it all every year, some players have had more chances than others to raise the trophy.
