Top three clubs Neymar can join this summer

The Brazilian is on a short-term deal with Santos.
When Neymar returned to Santos he was greeted with a warm welcome. The move happened after his contract with Saudi club Al-Hilal was terminated. The forward had barely made any appearances due to prolonged injuries in Saudi Arabia. However, the Brazilian has returned to his childhood club only on a short-term deal which will end in the summer.
Neymar has started to feature in Santos’ matches and is starting to show good performance. He is also trying to reach his peak fitness level. However, it is not known if the player will renew his contract at Santos. The reports are saying that he could return to Europe or join MLS clubs. Amidst this, we take a look at the top three clubs the former Paris Saint-Germain player could join in the summer.
3. Chicago Fire
In January, Chicago Fire discussed making a surprise bid to sign Brazil forward Neymar to the Major League Soccer team.
Negotiations with Neymar’s representation continued, and the Eastern Conference team was able to make the trade financially viable. However, sources later disclosed that the transfer was still pending and was not finalized.
Fire chose not to pursue the Brazilian, so it never transpired during the winter window. When the transfer window opens in the summer, they can still test the waters and look to sign the Brazilian sensation.
2. Inter Miami
Regarding the prospect of rejoining former Barcelona colleagues Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez at Inter Miami, Brazil star Neymar earlier stated that “football is full of surprises.”
Before making a record-breaking $230 million move to Paris St. Germain in 2017, the Brazilian formed a deadly combination with Messi and Suárez to guide Barcelona to the treble in 2015. The 33-year-old scored 118 goals for PSG before leaving. However, he failed to win the Champions League with PSG before moving to the Saudi Pro League, despite his tremendous domestic success.
But his time at the Saudi club wasn’t fruitful either and they decided to terminate his contract. Neymar was strongly linked with Herons before he joined Santos. Inter Miami could enter the race to sign Neymar when his deal with Santos expires as they would love to provide fans with the thrill of the MSN partnership.
1. Barcelona
According to recent reports in Spain, the winger hopes to return to Barcelona for a second term in 2025–2026 after regaining his fitness with Santos.
Neymar wants to sign a pre-contract with the Blaugrana before joining the team on a free transfer this summer, according to Barcelona journalist Joan Fontes.
Laporta and Neymar reportedly had fruitful discussions, and the Barcelona president is amenable to Neymar’s comeback provided the 33-year-old can demonstrate his fitness.
