Top three clubs that can sign Alphonso Davies next summer
The Canadian has one left on his Bayern Munich deal.
For a while now, Alphonso Davies has been connected to a transfer away from FC Bayern. Two elite European teams would prefer to try their luck with the Canadian next summer, according to recent media sources. Conversely, Bayern continue to work on an extension of their contract.
Despite Davies’s demand with FC Bayern being unfulfilled, rumours persist that the full-back may depart the record champions before 2025 summer. The 22-year-old is reportedly drawing a lot of interest from teams, including Real Madrid.
Davies, who has remained with Bayern, made five appearances in all competitions so far in the 2024-25 season, three of which have come from the starting lineup.
Last Saturday in the game against Werder Bremen, he reached the 200-appearance mark for the German side, with a total of 11 goals and 32 assists being recorded during that period.
3. Barcelona
Barcelona also held a meeting with the left-back’s agent to discuss a possible transfer. But they did not proceed quickly because they have Alejandro Balde and other youth players, who have stepped up in the absence of Balde.
However, it is reported that Bayern have not approved the deal. He might go on a free transfer as soon as possible if Bayern cannot agree on extension of the full-back in the meantine.
2. Chelsea
In the upcoming summer transfer window (2025), Chelsea are eager to sign Alphonso Davies, a top player for Bayern Munich. The Premier League team thinks there’s a chance to get him to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are becoming better, but they are still a long way from competing for major trophies such as the UEFA Champions League. They therefore need to strengthen their squad in order to do better in Europe and the Premier League. To do that, they ought to bring in performers with track records, one who can have an immediate impact on the group’s performances.
1. Real Madrid
Real Madrid are still very interested in acquiring Alphonso Davies, the left-back for Bayern Munich. Real Madrid are holding out for the chance to sign the Canada international, who has been a standout player for Bayern for a number of years. They can wait and bring him in for free next summer if he fails to sign a deal with the German club.
Real have recently shown some ingenuity in the transfer market. Davies would undoubtedly be another excellent addition to bolster their team. A player who blends youth and experience.
