Cole Palmer worth 'more' than Jude Bellingham as former England international ranks Chelsea star alongside Lamine Yamal

Palmer has become an undisputed player for Chelsea.
It seems Jude Bellingham is slowly losing his status, with Chelsea star Cole Palmer on the rise. Is he still one of England’s most influential players on the pitch?
Bellingham, an all-action midfielder, moved to Real Madrid in 2023 and won the Champions League, making him England’s most valuable asset. Although Palmer scored in a devastating loss to Spain, it was Bellingham who helped the Three Lions reach the Euro 2024 final.
While Palmer led Chelsea to Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup triumph in 2024–2025, Bellingham’s dominance at Santiago Bernabeu has somewhat diminished. Now the 23-year-old Blues playmaker is regarded as a member of the world’s finest players.
Barca wonderkid Lamine Yamal, who, like Palmer, inherited his club’s iconic No. 10 shirt this summer, is also in that talent class. They are regarded as two of the most precious resources in football worldwide.
Chris Waddle reveals who is worth more: Bellingham or Palmer?
Chris Waddle, a former England player, said Flashscore, which offers the top betting websites:
“I think if Cole Palmer was available, you’d have to break the bank to get him. Lamine Yamal is in that same category. I think Palmer would go for more than Jude Bellingham.
“In the modern game players go for over £100 million and at the minute you’d have to say about £150 million, Palmer is around that category. The money has gone daft, in my day you’d pay £1 million for a player, it’s just gone ridiculous. At the moment, Palmer and Yamal would be worth over £100 million.”

Palmer’s contract at Stamford Bridge has been extended until 2033, so it seems unrealistic that he will be leaving anytime soon. Meanwhile, Bellingham’s Madrid contract is scheduled to expire in the summer of 2029.
