Copa America 2024: List of all award winners

Argentina secured its 16th Copa America title after defeating Colombia.
The 2024 Copa America finally came to a close after Argentina went on to lift their record-breaking 16th trophy against Colombia in the final. In an end-to-end contest, both sides showcased tremendous calibre on the pitch, with Argentina ultimately emerging as 1-0 winners courtesy of super-sub Lautaro Martinez’s winner in extra-time.

Copa America 2024 Winner: Argentina
Defending champions Argentina successfully retained their crown as they recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over a resilient Colombia. Super sub Lautaro Martinez delivered the goods yet again as he scored a late winner in extra time to seal the Copa America trophy for Argentina.

Copa America 2024 Runners-up: Colombia
After an incredible run to the final, Colombia suffered a heartbreaking loss to Argentina in a closely contested affair, where ultimately their grit, determination, and quality fell marginally short of the ultimate champions, ending their impressive 28-match unbeaten streak in the process.
Copa America 2024 Third Place: Uruguay
Sergio Rochet’s heroics during the penalty shootout win (4-3) against Canada earned a bronze medal finish for La Celeste, after Luis Suarez’s last-ditch equaliser levelled the game 2-2 at the end of regulation time.
Copa America 2024 Fair Play Team: Colombia
Colombia have been awarded the Fair Play trophy at the Copa America 2024. The Colombian national team demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship throughout the tournament, accumulating the fewest yellow and red cards. Their conduct on and off the field was praised by officials and opponents alike
Copa America 2024 Golden Ball: James Rodriguez (1 goal & 6 assists)
One of the best performers throughout the tournament was undoubtedly the Colombian maverick James Rodriguez, who registered incredible numbers of one goal and six assists while playing an instrumental role in Colombia’s dream run to the final.
Copa America 2024 Golden Boot: Lautaro Martinez (5 goals)
Despite his limited game time throughout the competition, Lautaro Martinez was Argentina’s most influential player whenever called upon by coach Lionel Scaloni. The 26-year-old striker scored four goals during the group stage phase and netted the crucial winner against Colombia in the final to win the Copa America for La Albiceleste. Venezuela’s Salomon Rondon was second on the top scorer list with three goals.
Copa America 2024 Golden Glove: Emiliano Martinez (5 clean sheets)
La Albiceleste’s elite shot-stopper, Emiliano Martinez, was undoubtedly the best goalkeeper in the tournament. The 31-year-old goalkeeper kept an impressive five clean sheets in six matches. Martinez was Argentina’s hero in the penalty shootout win against Ecuador during the quarterfinals and kept his team in matches on multiple occasions with his stellar saves.
