Al-Nassr defeated Al-Ittihad in the semi-final to reach the final.
The Saudi Super Cup final is set, with Al-Nassr facing Al Ahli in the championship game on Saturday. Cristiano Ronaldo’s side beat Al-Ittihad 2-1 to reach the final, while Al Ahli easily defeated Al Qadisiyah 5-1 in the semi-final.
This is the second final in a row for Al-Nassr. Last year, they were beaten by Al Hilal, thwarting Ronaldo’s hopes of lifting a trophy.
However, the former Real Madrid star will once again have an opportunity to get his hands on the Super Cup trophy before the start of the new season.
Despite not scoring in the semi-final against Al-Ittihad, Ronaldo managed to get his name on the assist board when he squared the ball to new signing Joao Felix to put his side ahead in the game. The Knights of Najd fought hard to edge their opponents.
Meanwhile, for Al Ahli, it was rather an easy game as they effortlessly thrashed Al Qadisiyah 5-1, with goals from Ivan Toney, Enzo Millot, a brace from Frank Kessie, and an own goal from Nacho.
Both teams looking to lift Super Cup before start of new season

Both sides will now prepare for the final game before the beginning of the new campaign. Ronaldo will be desperate to get his hands on a major trophy with Al-Nassr, having failed to do so since his move to the club.
However, defeating Al-Ahli will be challenging for them, as they are the current AFC Champions League Elite winners and boast a solid squad, which will be ready to clinch the trophy.
But Al-Nassr also possess a quality roster, having signed the likes of Joao Felix, Kingsley Coman and Inigo Martinez to reinforce their squad going into the new season.
With both sides stacked with talented teams, the Super Cup final is set to be an action-packed drama. Ronaldo will be eager to finally get his hands on the silverware.
